Although our Cavy Caves were originally designed for Guinea Pigs, as the name suggests, they are also perfect for Chins, Ferrets, Goos and other Small Furries.

The Caves have a low profile doorway, and a luxuriously padded floor so are especially useful for older, disabled or recuperating Furries.

With this in mind the Cavy Cave offers your animals the privacy they need, but the specially designed and reinforced doorway also allows you the opportunity to keep a close eye on them without disturbing them whilst they slumber.

Each Cave comes with 2 spare Perfect Fit Cushions (or more if you require). This saves you having to wash the whole bed every time they stink it up!  It also means it is a great choice for post op or recuperating FurBalls as you can keep their bedding fresh and clean without having to stress them out by removing their bed every day

The Cave is constructed from multiple layers of Fleece, and the base of the Cave is constructed to act like a nappy, wicking away urine from the top layer into the base layers, to help keep slumbering Furballs dry.

The Cave’s interior is lightly Quilted to prevent the lining wandering in the wash and also hand-tied to minimise visible threads / tangle hazards.

As you can see from the picture on the left, all seams are enclosed, not a raw edge in sight!

This not only makes it look nicer, but also addresses a far more important safety issue – exposed seams not only encourage Nibbling, but they can also prove dangerous to curious and clumsy Furballs

If your pet is prone to destroying their soft furnishings, then we suggest you stick to Polar Fleece Lining  and your Bed will last much longer

If you leave us a message at checkout we can also increase the amount of  quilting to prevent burrowing, however we do not recommend this option for Chinchillas due to safety issues.

These copies are unauthorised and are an infringement of an original Hammocky Hammocks product, and are in no way associated with us, and therefore we cannot vouch for the quality or safety of products bought elsewhere.

If you have been misled into purchasing one of these copies, and are unhappy with the purchase, there is very little we can do other than suggest you liase with the company you originally purchased from to seek remuneration.
